Rectangular 90° Bend (Elbow)
Product Description
The rectangular 90° bend is a primary fitting of the ventilation system, designed to change the direction of the airflow at a right angle. These elbows are used for bypassing obstacles, turning the route within premises, and connecting to ventilation equipment.
The geometry of the item is designed with aerodynamics in mind: the standard inner radius is 150 mm (R=150), ensuring smooth air turning with minimal resistance and noise. The element is fully compatible with our straight air ducts.
Key Features
- Structural integrity: The bends are manufactured from galvanized steel with a Z275 coating. Segment assembly is performed on seam forming machines (Pittsburgh lock seam), ensuring seam tightness and high structural rigidity, preventing deformation under pressure surges.
- Easy installation: The item is supplied with pre-installed flanges (Euro-profile) on the ends. The flange size (20, 30, or 40 mm) is automatically selected during production based on the cross-section size to ensure frame rigidity.
- Versatility: The standard angle is 90°. Upon special request, we manufacture bends with any custom angle (e.g., 15°, 30°, 60°), as well as items made of stainless steel (AISI 304/316) or powder-coated in colors from the RAL catalog.

Installation Recommendations
- Sealing: Turning sections experience increased aerodynamic load. When joining flanges, it is mandatory to apply sealant or sealing tape around the entire frame perimeter and corners.
- Suspension: It is recommended to mount the bend to the ceiling separately to relieve the load from the flange connections of adjacent ducts. Use appropriate mounting elements.
- Accessories: To assemble joints, you will need bolts (M8/M10), nuts, and mounting clamps (cleats) for tightening flanges longer than 300 mm. All fasteners are available in the additional materials section.
