Coupling (joints) are used to hermetically connect circular ducts of equal diameter. Due to the hermetic seal of the coupling, air leakage and pressure loss in the system are reduced and sound insulation is improved. Coupling are used only in the straight sections of the ventilation duct. The circular ducts with coupling connectors have no protruding sections or parts, which simplifies assembly and reduces the space required for assembly.
