Product Description

A ventilation coupler is a connection element designed to assemble system sections consisting of fittings. Unlike a nipple, a coupler is used to connect two fittings (e.g., two bends, a bend and a tee, or a silencer and a reducer) together.

The coupler has a female (socket) design on both sides. It features an internal stop bead in the center, which helps to correctly position the connected parts.

• Construction: Consists of a pipe section with an inner diameter matching the outer diameter of the fitting, with a stop bead in the middle.

Available Diameters and Specifications

Material and Thickness:

• Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275. Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316), aluminum, and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
• Thickness: From 0.5 to 0.9 mm depending on the diameter.
• Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.

Application and Installation Tips

• Connecting fittings: Insert the spigots of two connected elements (e.g., two bends) into the coupler sockets on both sides until they hit the stop.
• Sealing: If the connected fittings have rubber gaskets, the connection will be airtight immediately. If there are no gaskets, the joints must be sealed with aluminum tape.
• Fastening: It is recommended to additionally secure the connection with self-tapping screws or rivets.
