Flexible Corrugated Air Ducts
Product Description
Flexible corrugated air ducts are an integral part of modern ventilation, used to connect terminal system elements (such as valves or diffusers) to main channels. Their main advantage is the ability to install in difficult conditions, tight spaces, and areas where installing rigid ducts is difficult.
Key Features and Duct Types
We offer several types of flexible ducts for different tasks:
- Aluminum (Aludec type): Standard uninsulated duct. Consists of multiple layers of aluminum and polyester tape on a steel wire spiral frame. Resistant to deformation. (Temperature: -30°C to +250°C).
- Thermally Insulated (Izoduct type): Features an inner aluminum duct, a layer of thermal insulation (standard 25 mm), and a durable outer jacket. Used for transporting hot air (e.g., from fireplaces) or preventing condensation (e.g., when routing through cold attics). (Temperature: -30°C to +250°C).
- Acoustic (Sonoduct type): A subtype of thermally insulated duct. Features a perforated inner duct which, together with the insulation, effectively absorbs aerodynamic noise from the fan.
- Stainless Steel (High-Temperature): Designed for transporting hot air or flue gases from equipment. Made of spirally wound stainless steel strips. (Temperature: -30°C to +700°C).
- Reinforced (Combidec type): (Custom Order) Aluminum duct with an additional outer PVC layer for increased mechanical strength.

Material and Characteristics:
- Material: Aluminum/Polyester, Stainless Steel (depending on type).
- Thickness: ~ 0.1 mm.
- Insulation: 25 mm (for thermally insulated versions).
- Certification: The products comply with the EN 1506:2007 standard.
Application and Installation Tips
- Installation: The flexible duct is pulled over the male spigot of a fitting (e.g., a reducer or tee).
- "Duct-to-duct" connection: To connect two flexible ducts, use a nipple (coupler) (internal connector).
- Fastening: The connection must be securely fixed with a ventilation clamp.
- Sealing: For maximum airtightness, it is recommended to additionally wrap the joint with aluminum adhesive tape.
