Rectangular 45° Bend
Product Description
The rectangular 45° bend is a ventilation fitting used for smoothly changing the direction of the air channel. Unlike the 90° elbow, this element creates less aerodynamic resistance, reducing noise and load on fans. The item is used when bypassing obstacles (beams, columns) or when a route axis shift is required.
The standard inner radius of curvature is 150 mm, ensuring optimal compactness while maintaining good aerodynamic properties. The bend is fully compatible with straight air ducts.
Key Features
- Angle versatility: The standard version is 45 degrees. However, upon request, we manufacture bends with any turning angle (e.g., 15°, 30°, 60°), allowing any geometric problem on site to be solved.
- Design: The bends are equipped with pre-installed flanges (Euro-profile) for quick bolt assembly. The flange size (20, 30, or 40 mm) is selected automatically depending on the cross-section, ensuring frame rigidity.
- Materials: The standard version uses DX51D+Z275 galvanized steel. For specific tasks (food industry, design projects), manufacturing from stainless steel (AISI 304/316) or powder coating in RAL colors is available.

Installation Recommendations
- Sealing: Corner joints are most susceptible to air leaks. When assembling flanges, always use sealing tape or sealant.
- Fastening: Additional aerodynamic loads occur in the turning zones of the route. It is recommended to install suspensions (profile + threaded rod) in the immediate vicinity of the bend.
- Accessories: To assemble, you will need M8/M10 bolts and nuts, as well as mounting clamps for tightening flanges (if the section side exceeds 300 mm). All of this is available in the mounting materials section.
