The "Saddle" type side tap is a fitting designed to connect a rectangular air duct or ventilation grille to a main channel of circular cross-section. The base of the item has a radius cut that exactly matches the diameter of the carrier pipe, while the outlet part represents a standard rectangular flange.
This is an indispensable element for combined ventilation systems, allowing branches into a rectangular channel without using bulky tees or mounting rectangular distribution grilles directly onto a circular spiral duct.

- Individual geometry: The item is always manufactured for a specific main line diameter. The saddle seating area fits tightly to the surface of the circular pipe, ensuring minimal gaps.
- Versatility: The standard saddle is installed at a 90° angle. According to your project (drawing), we can manufacture taps with an inclination (from 45°) or eccentric offset, which is often required in complex technical shafts.
- Application: Used as a "Round - Rectangular" adapter or as a mounting seat for installing ventilation grilles on exposed air ducts (e.g., in loft-style sales halls).
- Materials: DX51D galvanized steel (Z275). Manufacturing from stainless steel or powder coating in any color from the RAL catalog is also available.

Installation Recommendations
- Hole preparation: It is necessary to cut a hole in the circular pipe corresponding to the size of the rectangular tap section.
- Sealing: Due to the complex connection geometry (flat to round), the use of silicone sealant is critical to prevent whistles and air leaks.
- Fixation: The saddle is attached to the main pipe using blind rivets or self-tapping screws. When installing grilles, ensure that the tap flange does not protrude beyond the finished surface plane, if applicable.
