Round Pressed Reducer (with Gasket)
Product Description
A round pressed reducer is a high-quality fitting designed to smoothly connect two ducts of different diameters. Unlike segmented (welded) reducers, this part is manufactured using deep drawing (pressing), which ensures perfect geometry and the absence of transverse seams.
Thanks to its streamlined shape, the pressed reducer creates minimal aerodynamic resistance and reduces noise in the system. The presence of factory-installed EPDM rubber gaskets on both sides guarantees high airtightness class "D".
Key Features
- Airtightness Class D: Double EPDM rubber gaskets, factory-crimped by a lock-seam, ensure reliable sealing of connections without the need for tape or sealant.
- Pressed Construction: The smooth inner surface without sharp corners or protrusions facilitates free airflow.
- Safe Edges "SAFE": The edges of the product are hemmed, providing additional rigidity and protecting the installer's hands from cuts.
- High Quality: Linear automatic welding and high-quality galvanized steel (Z275) ensure a long service life and aesthetic appearance.

Material and Thickness:
- Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275 (275 g/m²). Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316), aluminum, and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
- Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.
Application and Installation Tips
- Installation: Both spigots of the reducer ("male") are equipped with gaskets and are inserted inside straight ducts.
- "Fitting-to-fitting" connection: To connect the reducer directly to another fitting (e.g., a bend), a coupler (external connection) is required.
- Fastening: It is recommended to secure the joint using self-tapping screws or rivets.
Availability and Ordering
- Availability: Standard pressed reducers, shown in the table, are always in stock or available on short lead times.
- Custom Order: On request, it is possible to manufacture reducers without a gasket (model RC), as well as segmented reducers for larger diameters.
