Product Description

A round end cap is a fitting used for an airtight and secure termination of ductwork end sections. It prevents moisture, dust, and foreign objects from entering the duct system and also allows for the temporary capping or preservation of unused branches.

Thanks to the installed EPDM rubber gasket, the end cap provides high airtightness (Class "D") and is ready for quick installation by inserting it into the female end (socket) of a duct.

Material and Thickness (for all types):

• Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275. Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316), aluminum, and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
• Thickness: From 0.5 to 0.9 mm depending on the diameter.
• Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.

Application and Installation Tips

• Direct Installation: The end cap is inserted directly into the female end (socket) of a round duct of the corresponding diameter.
• Fixing: Additional fixing with quick-release clamps may be required in high-pressure systems or to prevent accidental displacement.
• Temporary Use: End caps without gaskets can be used as a temporary solution during construction or installation to protect the system from debris and precipitation.

Custom Manufacturing: Segmented End Caps

In addition to standard pressed products, we manufacture segmented end caps of any diameter to order in our workshop.

• Construction: Made from segments connected by a seam joint. This allows for the production of non-standard large-sized items (up to 1600 mm).
• Connection Type (Female): Unlike the standard version, this end cap is designed to be mounted over a fitting. It fits onto the end of an elbow, tee, or nipple.
• Extended Material Selection:
  • Stainless steel (AISI 304, AISI 316L with molybdenum).
  • Aluminium (AW-1050A H24).
  • Copper (M1E z4).
  • Special coating ZM310 (for diameters up to 500 mm).
• Sealing: The segmented end cap is supplied without a gasket. To seal the joints, the seam and fasteners must be taped with sealing tape (TAL, TALE, or DUCT type).
