Product Description

A round end cap is a fitting used for an airtight and secure termination of ductwork end sections. It prevents moisture, dust, and foreign objects from entering the duct system and also allows for the temporary capping or preservation of unused branches.

Thanks to the installed EPDM rubber gasket, the end cap provides high airtightness (Class "D") and is ready for quick installation by inserting it into the female end (socket) of a duct.

Material and Thickness (for all types):

• Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275. Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316), aluminum, and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
• Thickness: From 0.5 to 0.9 mm depending on the diameter.
• Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.

Application and Installation Tips

• Direct Installation: The end cap is inserted directly into the female end (socket) of a round duct of the corresponding diameter.
• Fixing: Additional fixing with quick-release clamps may be required in high-pressure systems or to prevent accidental displacement.
• Temporary Use: End caps without gaskets can be used as a temporary solution during construction or installation to protect the system from debris and precipitation.

Availability and Ordering

• Availability: Standard end caps (D-100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630, 800), shown in the table, are kept in stock or delivered within short lead times.
• Custom Order: On request, it is possible to manufacture end caps without a gasket, with a mesh screen, with a handle, non-standard diameters (up to 1400 mm), and any other non-standard variations (including the materials specified in the characteristics).
