A non-standard ventilation collar saddle is a fitting manufactured to individual order to create branches from a main duct in complex or specific installation conditions.

Unlike standard straight saddles, these products can have an angled outlet or a design with an aerodynamic offset (so-called "shoe" or "boot"), which allows directing the airflow at the required angle and reducing resistance in the system.

Key Features and Options

• Any Angles: We manufacture saddles with a branch at 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, or any other degree according to your project.
• Aerodynamic Shape ("Shoe"): To improve airflow and reduce noise, we produce saddles with a smooth expansion at the base (shoe/boot).
• Segmented Construction: Products are made by cutting and welding (or seaming) metal, allowing for any ratio of main duct to branch diameters.
• Connection Type: Standardly, the spigot has a nipple size ("male") for insertion into the duct. A socket ("female") or flange connection can be manufactured on request.

Technical Manufacturing Capabilities

Since this is a custom-made item, there is no fixed article table. We produce items in the following ranges:

Airtightness:

• Manufacturing is possible both with a rubber gasket (EPDM) and without it.

Application and Installation Tips

• Complex Nodes: Used where it is impossible to install a standard tee or straight saddle due to lack of space or aerodynamic requirements.
• Installation: A hole is cut in the main duct along the contour of the saddle. The saddle is attached to the pipe with rivets or self-tapping screws through the mounting flange.
• Sealing: The junction between the saddle and the main duct must be thoroughly sealed with silicone or reinforced aluminum tape.
