Round ducts — are the foundation of any supply or exhaust ventilation system. They serve as the main channels for air movement, ensuring the removal of contaminants and the supply of fresh air. We offer two main types of ducts:

• Spiral-wound (Spiral): Standard length 3000 mm. Starting from a diameter of 315 mm, the ducts feature additional stiffening ribs, which significantly increase their strength and resistance to vacuum pressure.
• Longitudinal Seam (Rolled Seam): Standard length 1250 mm. They have a longitudinal rolled (lock) seam. Custom manufacturing is available with a welded seam (TIG welding) or non-standard lengths (1500, 2000 mm).

Key Features and Connection Types

• Two types available: Spiral-wound (L=3000 mm) for maximum rigidity and Longitudinal Seam (L=1250 mm) for specific installation tasks.
• Connection Types: The standard version ("female") is designed for connection with nipples (couplers) or fittings (bends, tees).
• "Duct-in-duct" Connection (Custom Order): Ducts can be manufactured with an expanded end for a direct "duct-in-duct" connection without using a nipple.
• Stiffening Ribs: Spiral ducts with a diameter of 315 mm and larger are automatically supplied with stiffening ribs.

Material and Thickness (for all types):

• Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275. Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316) and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
• Thickness: From 0.5 to 0.9 mm depending on the diameter.
• Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.

Application and Installation Tips

• "Duct-to-duct" connection: To connect two straight duct sections, a nipple (coupler) of the corresponding diameter is used.
• "Duct-to-fitting" connection: To connect a duct to fittings (e.g., bends or tees), a nipple is not required, as these parts already have a male connection for insertion into the duct.
• Fastening: To securely fix the ducts to walls or ceilings, it is recommended to use ventilation clamps.
• Sealing: All joints are recommended to be sealed with aluminum adhesive tape (duct tape).

Availability and Ordering

• Availability: Standard spiral-wound ducts (VASG) are kept in stock or delivered within short lead times. Longitudinal seam ducts (VASGV) are supplied on a custom-order basis.
• Custom Order: Custom manufacturing is available for non-standard lengths (1500, 2000 mm), "duct-in-duct" connections, TIG-welded seams, and any other non-standard variations (including the materials specified in the characteristics).
