Supply and Exhaust Metal Diffusers
Description and Purpose
Metal ceiling diffusers are the terminal elements of a ventilation system responsible for air distribution in the room. Unlike plastic analogs, steel diffusers do not yellow over time, do not become electrified (do not attract dust), and have increased fire safety.
The design of most models features a rotating central disk, which allows for smooth adjustment of the airflow volume (system balancing). Installation is carried out into spiral air ducts or static pressure plenums.
Model Overview and Features
- Classic (DVS/DVS-P): The most popular solution. Divided into supply (DVS-P) with a convex disk for jet dispersion and exhaust (DVS) with a flat disk for efficient air intake.
- Flat Universal (KNI-RMI): Have a modern flat design that stands out less on the ceiling. They are universal — the same model is suitable for both supply and exhaust.
- Conical (DKF): Designed for supply systems with high airflow. Concentric rings form a powerful jet, allowing their use in rooms with high ceilings.
- Appearance: Standard color is white (RAL 9016). Thanks to powder coating, the finish is scratch-resistant. Repainting in any color from the RAL palette is possible upon request.
Dimensions and Characteristics
Classic Diffusers (DVS / DVS-P)
The most popular and affordable model. Exhaust diffusers (DVS) have a flat plate, while supply diffusers (DVS-P) have a convex one, ensuring correct flow aerodynamics.

Flat Universal (KNI)
Designer series with a flat profile that looks more aesthetic in modern interiors. Universal design suitable for any system.

Conical (DKF)
Specialized supply model. Creates a powerful, long-range air jet. The ideal solution for rooms with high ceilings where air needs to be "thrown" to the working zone.

Installation and Components
- Installation method: Diffusers are installed into a mounting ring (usually included for DVS/KNI) or directly into the air duct/fitting.
- Sealing: Many models are equipped with a foam ring on the back for a tight fit to the ceiling and prevention of air leakage.
- Adjustment: Performed by rotating the central part (plate). After adjusting the position, the plate is fixed with a locknut.
- Materials: Clamps, tape, or other mounting elements may be required for connection to the ventilation system.
