Air Filters and Filter Boxes
Product Description
A filter box (air filter housing) is a ventilation system component designed to clean supply, exhaust, or recirculating air from dust and other pollutants. It consists of a metal casing that houses a replaceable filter element.
Using filter boxes ensures a cleaner and safer indoor environment and protects ventilation system components (fans, heat recovery units) from contamination. The casing is equipped with a convenient cover (with latches or wing nuts) for quick filter replacement.
Key Features and Filter Types
We offer filter boxes for round ducts designed for three main types of filter elements:
- Cassette Filter (Filter Class G3/G4): A basic coarse filter designed to capture large particles such as visible dust, lint, hair, or sand. Used in most standard ventilation systems.
- Bag (Pocket) Filter (Filter Class G3 - F9): A more efficient filter with an increased filtration area. The range of classes means it can capture both coarse dust (G3/G4) and fine particles (F7 - F9), including pollen, spores, and some bacteria.
- PAINTSTOP Filter (Filter Class G3): A specialized fiberglass filter designed to capture paint particles in spray booths and industrial settings. Withstands temperatures up to 180°C.
- Custom Execution: It is possible to order non-standard elements at the customer's request (including versions without gaskets, other filtration classes, as well as stainless steel execution).
Important: Replacement filter elements (cassettes, bags) can be purchased separately for replacement as they become clogged.
Available Types and Sizes
All filter boxes are equipped with round spigots for connection to ducts. The spigots in the standard version have EPDM rubber gaskets for an airtight connection.
