Pressed Ventilation Saddle with Gasket
Product Description
The pressed saddle is a deep-drawn fitting designed to create a sealed branch from a main round duct.
Unlike handcrafted taps, the pressed saddle features perfect geometry and a rounding radius at the base (r ≈ 10–25 mm). This design significantly improves aerodynamics, reducing air resistance and noise in the system.
Key Features
- Ideal Aerodynamics: The smooth radius transition from the main to the branch ensures free airflow without turbulence.
- Air Tightness: Supplied with an EPDM rubber gasket (Class D) as standard. Upon customer request (e.g., to reduce costs), it can be supplied without a gasket.
- Universal Installation: The saddle geometry allows the same item to be installed on main pipes of various diameters (within a specific range).
- Aesthetics and Rigidity: The seamless pressed construction looks aesthetic and possesses high rigidity.

Material and Standards:
- Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275.
- Certification: Products comply with EN 12237 (Class D).
Installation
- Preparation: A hole corresponding to the branch diameter is cut in the main duct.
- Fixation: The saddle is attached to the pipe using rivets or self-tapping screws. Thanks to the radius shape, it fits tightly to the main duct.
- Sealing: The branch connection is sealed by the gasket. It is recommended to additionally seal the saddle base connection to the main duct with sealant.

- Made to Order: Large diameter saddles (segmented) are manufactured individually.
