Product Description

Round 45° bends are an essential fitting for creating a smooth and efficient ventilation system. They are used to change the direction of the duct at a sharp angle, minimizing pressure loss and noise in the channel compared to 90° bends. The presence of an installed EPDM rubber gasket ensures airtightness class "D" (the highest), which is critical for the efficient operation of the system.

The bends are made of galvanized steel and are ready for quick installation inside a straight duct or another fitting that has a female connection (socket).

• 45° Angle: Ideal for smooth bypassing of obstacles, gradual changes in direction, or connecting channels located at an angle.
• Airtightness Class D: Thanks to the factory-installed EPDM rubber gasket, the highest level of airtightness is achieved.
• Pressed and Segmented Construction: Bends with small diameters (up to 200 mm inclusive) are manufactured by pressing for ideal smoothness and minimal resistance. Larger diameters are produced using a segmented method.
• Durability: Galvanized steel provides high corrosion resistance and a long service life.

Available Diameters and Specifications

Material and Thickness (for all types):

• Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275. Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316), aluminum, and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
• Thickness: From 0.5 to 0.9 mm depending on the diameter.
• Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.

Application and Compatibility

• Installation: The bend inserts easily into straight ducts or other fittings (e.g., tees or 90° bends) that have a female connection (socket) (without a rubber gasket).
• Connection: To connect the bend to other fittings that also have a male part (e.g., another bend), you must use a nipple (coupler) of the corresponding diameter.
• Geometric Parameters: For ease of design, all 45° bends have a standard turn radius equal to the diameter (R=D). The distance from the duct centerline to the end of the bend is 0.413d.
• Fixing: It is recommended to secure the joints with quick-release clamps.

Availability and Ordering

• Availability: Standard bends (pressed up to D-200), shown in the table, are kept in stock or delivered within short lead times.
• Custom Order: On request, it is possible to manufacture bends without a gasket, non-standard angles or radii, non-standard diameters (up to 1400 mm), and any other non-standard variations (including the materials specified in the characteristics).
