SPNP Adapter for Connection to Ceramic Chimney Flue
Product Description
The SPNP adapter for ceramic chimney flues is a precision-made insert crafted from black carbon steel, designed to protect the ceramic liner from both mechanical and thermal stress when connecting a steel flue pipe. Its key feature is a heat-resistant fibre rope seal, which ensures a tight joint while compensating for the different thermal expansion rates of steel and ceramic — preventing cracks and damage to the brittle ceramic liner.
Key Features
- Protects ceramic chimney liners: Equipped with a high-temperature fibre rope seal that absorbs thermal expansion differences between steel and ceramic, reliably preventing cracking or damage during heating cycles.
- Safe and correct transition: Provides a technically correct and secure connection from a single-wall steel flue to a thick-wall ceramic chimney system.
- Pressure-tight SPNP connection (Class P1): The SPNP-side socket includes a silicone gasket, ensuring complete pressure-tight integrity on the boiler connection side.
- European quality and compliance: Manufactured from DC01 carbon steel and CE-certified, meeting all requirements of the European flue system standard EN 1856-2.
