SPNP 90° Black Steel Elbow with Inspection Port or Pellet Stove & Boiler Flues
Product Description
The SPNP 90° Elbow with Inspection Port is a key component for pellet stove flue systems. This chimney elbow, made from black carbon steel, serves two functions: it changes the direction of the flue run by 90 degrees and provides convenient access for maintenance. It is constructed from welded segments to create a smooth bend and features a sealed inspection hatch. This allows you to bypass structural obstacles and correctly connect pellet appliances to the vertical chimney stack. Suitable for pellet stoves, pellet boilers, and other low-temperature, fan-assisted heating appliances.
Key Features
- Easy Maintenance: The integrated inspection port with a sealed, latched lid provides quick and easy access for cleaning and inspecting the flue without disassembling the system.
- 90-Degree Change of Direction: Allows the flue path to be altered by 90 degrees to bypass obstacles or to create a horizontal connection from the appliance.
- Complete Seal (Class P1): The socket connection with its silicone gasket, combined with the sealed inspection port, guarantees the pressure-tight integrity of the entire component, essential for modern, fan-assisted boilers.
- European Quality and Safety: The product is certified and CE marked, confirming its full compliance with the European standard for flue systems EN 1856-2.

Important Limitations
- For Pellet Appliances Only: Do not use with wood-burning stoves, open fireplaces, or other solid fuel boilers where flue gas temperatures exceed 200°C and there is a risk of soot fire.
- Check Seal After Maintenance: Before starting the boiler after each cleaning, ensure the inspection port lid is closed firmly and securely sealed.
- For Indoor Installation Only: This is not an insulated (twin-wall) pipe and is intended for installation only inside heated spaces.
