SPNP Chimney Terminal with Rain Cap for Pellet Stoves and Boilers
Product Description
The SPNP Chimney Terminal, commonly known as a chimney cap, is the final component installed at the top of a vertical flue run. Its main function is to protect the flue system from atmospheric precipitation (rain, snow) and foreign objects, while ensuring the free exit of flue gases. This component is manufactured from acid-resistant 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel for maximum service life in corrosive environments.
Key Features
- Maximum Corrosion Resistance: The terminal is manufactured from 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel, which offers superior resistance to acidic condensate and harsh weather conditions.
- Protection from Rain and Debris: The rain cap design, with a 150 mm diameter, effectively prevents rain, snow, and leaves from entering the flue channel.
- Stable Gas Exhaust: Ensures the proper dispersal of flue gases from the pellet appliance and protects the channel from strong wind gusts.
- Sealed Connection: The terminal has a spigot connection and is installed into the socket of the final pipe, utilizing its silicone gasket to maintain the pressure-tight integrity (Class P1) of the system.
