Domestic Plastic Ventilation Grilles
Description and Application
Domestic ventilation grilles made of high-quality plastic are designed for decorating the outlets of supply and exhaust ventilation systems. They are widely used in apartments, private houses, offices, and utility rooms (bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, dressing rooms).
Unlike metal analogs, plastic products are not subject to corrosion, making them an ideal solution for rooms with high humidity. The material is resistant to UV radiation (does not turn yellow) and is easy to clean.
Main Varieties
Wall-mounted surface grilles (rectangular/square)
The most common type for wall or ceiling mounting. They feature inclined louvers which hide the ventilation opening while maintaining free air passage. Most models come equipped with a protective insect mesh.
Adjustable grilles
Models equipped with a manual mechanism for adjusting the free area (louvers can be opened and closed). Control is carried out using a special slider or a cord (for high-mounted grilles). This allows controlling natural draft and shutting off the airflow when necessary.
Round grilles (diffusers)
Designed for installation directly into round air ducts or openings of the corresponding diameter. They have a mounting flange for a tight fit into the pipe. Ideal for small exhaust channels.
Door (transfer) grilles
Installed in the lower part of interior doors (usually in bathrooms and toilets) to ensure proper air circulation between rooms when doors are closed.
