SIA Akvilon offers stainless steel sheets—one of the most durable materials available. Our assortment includes economical solutions (AISI 430), standard grades (AISI 304), and premium alloys (AISI 316L), including from the European leader ArcelorMittal.

Unlike standard metal depots, we supply stainless steel not only in sheets but also in coils. This gives you a key advantage: we can cut or shear the material to your exact length, which eliminates waste.

We offer three main grades of stainless steel that cover 99% of all industrial and domestic needs.

Choosing a Stainless Steel Grade

Choosing the right grade is a guarantee of durability and savings on future repairs. The main difference lies in the chemical composition, which affects corrosion resistance and magnetic properties.

Grade (AISI / EN) Key Feature Magnetic Properties Primary Application
AISI 430 (EN 1.4016) Economical (nickel-free). Magnetic (due to the absence of nickel). Decorative trim, casings. The optimal choice for dry indoor environments.
AISI 304 (EN 1.4301) Universal, "food-grade" (contains nickel). Non-magnetic (but can become slightly magnetic in areas of mechanical processing). Kitchens, chimneys, food industry, urban environments.
AISI 316L (EN 1.4404) Acid-resistant, "marine-grade" (contains molybdenum). Non-magnetic (due to high nickel content). Swimming pools, coastal areas, chemical production, welded structures.

Surface Finish Glossary:

  • 2B: Standard matte finish.
  • BA / 2R: Bright Annealed (mirror) finish.
  • N4: Brushed finish (satin).
  • +PVC / FPE / PE: Surface is covered with a protective film to prevent scratches.

  • In-house Production: Our own production space (over 1000 m²) in Riga, equipped with high-precision equipment.
  • Material in Coils: Unlike metal depots, we also supply galvanized steel, PE-coated steel, and stainless steel in coils. We can unroll and cut exactly the length you need.
  • Cutting to Size: We perform shearing, blanking, and laser cutting of sheet metal to your specifications.
  • Flexibility and Custom Solutions: We perform bending, produce complex profiles (up to 4 mm thick), bent aluminum parts (up to 3 m long), and also perform welding (aluminum, stainless steel).
  • Certification per EN 1090: Our structural load-bearing profiles have mandatory CE marking and a Declaration of Performance (DoP).
  • Engineering Support: We are ready to help with technical consultation and structural calculations (ITC) for your elements.

Material Compliance with EU Standards

All sheet metal we supply is intended for use in construction and complies with the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). Stainless steel has Declarations of Performance (DoP) and has been tested according to the harmonized EN 10088 standard.
