Profiled Metal Valley Flashing (Complex Under-Roof Valley)

The profiled valley flashing (complex under-roof valley) is a reinforced waterproofing element installed in the internal angles of a roof. Unlike the simple V-shaped profile, this modification is specifically designed for roofs with a large slope area, where the discharge of extreme volumes of rainwater and meltwater is required.

The presence of a widened central channel allows it to effectively handle powerful water flows, preventing their collision and overrun past the edges of the element. The part is mounted on solid decking prior to the installation of the main roof covering, ensuring absolute watertightness of the roof's most complex assembly.

Design Features:

• Central Drainage Channel (Flange B): The flat bottom of the channel drastically increases the discharge capacity of the valley and prevents the formation of dense ice wedges during the winter period.
• Stepped Profile (20 mm Water Baffles): The 20 mm high vertical bends between the bottom and the sloped flanges dissipate the kinetic energy of converging water flows, eliminating lateral splashing and overflow under the roofing material.
• Anti-Capillary Barriers: The lateral edges of the flanges (A and C) are equipped with 10 mm internal hems. They provide the wide product with rigidity and physically block the capillary rise of moisture.
• Custom Geometry: The width of the side wings and the central channel is calculated for a specific project, allowing the element to be adapted to any pitch angles and types of roof coverings.
• Material Reliability: Manufactured from premium galvanized or stainless steel, as well as sheet metal with durable polymer coatings (Polyester, PURal, PVC).
