Half-Round Metal Roof Ridge Cap

The half-round roof ridge cap is a premium-class decorative and protective flashing element designed to finish the upper horizontal ridge of a roof or the sloped hips of hip roofs. Thanks to the radial shape of the central section, the product gives the roof a voluminous, classic look, perfectly complementing the profile of metal tile roofing.

In addition to high aesthetics, the half-round profile forms a spacious ventilation channel in the under-roof space. It reliably covers the intersections of roof slopes, protecting the insulation and roof truss system from rain, snow, and debris infiltration.

Design Features:

• Radius Vault (Crown): The semicircular central part not only serves a decorative function but also acts as a stiffening rib, significantly increasing the element's resistance to deformation loads (for example, during heavy snowfall).
• Symmetrical Mounting Flanges (A): The flat side wings ensure a tight fit of the ridge cap to the roofing material. The pitch angle of the flanges can be adjusted during production to match the actual slope of the building's roof.
• Concealed Edge Hemming: The lower edges of the product are folded inward (standard 10 mm). This hides the sharp metal cut, gives the ridge wings perfect straightness, and eliminates the risk of scratching the roof covering during installation.
• Optimal Width (B): The overall dimensions of the product are calculated taking into account the ventilation gap and the need to create a reliable overlap on the top sheets of the roofing material.
• Material Selection: Manufactured from galvanized steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal with high-quality polymer coatings (Polyester, PURal, PVC), allowing the element to perfectly match the color of the main roof.
