The Insulated Inspection Tee with a rectangular door is an inspection module installed at the base of the vertical chimney stack. Its primary function is to provide simple and sealed access to the inside of the flue channel via a special rectangular door for periodic inspection and soot removal. The presence of such a cleaning element is a mandatory requirement for the safe operation of any chimney system.
Key Features
Convenient Access for Maintenance: The component is equipped with a sealed rectangular door that provides a wide opening for easy access for inspection equipment and cleaning tools.
Standard Door Sizes: For twin-wall chimneys with an outer diameter of up to 350 mm, the standard inspection door size is 140x210 mm or 140x270 mm. Doors for larger diameter chimneys are manufactured according to approved specifications.
Base of the Chimney System: It is typically installed as the lowest module of the vertical section, resting on a support bracket. The tees for connecting the appliance (45° or 90°) are then installed on top of it.
Condensate Drain Connection: The bottom outlet is the standard location for installing a condensate drain, which collects and removes moisture from the chimney.
