Insulated Inspection Tee with Round Hatch
Product Description
The Insulated Inspection Tee with a round hatch is an essential module installed at the base of the vertical chimney stack. Its primary function is to provide simple and sealed access to the inside of the flue channel via a special round hatch for periodic inspection and soot removal. The presence of such a cleaning tee is a mandatory requirement for the safe operation of any chimney system.
Key Features
- Easy Access for Maintenance: The component is equipped with a special sealed cap (round hatch), which can be removed to quickly assess the chimney's condition and clean it from the bottom up.
- Base of the Chimney System: It is typically installed as the lowest module of the vertical section, resting on a support bracket. The tees for connecting the appliance (45° or 90°) are then installed on top of it.
- Condensate Drain Connection: The bottom outlet of the inspection tee is the standard location for installing a condensate drain, which collects and removes moisture that forms in the chimney.
- Reliable Construction: The insulated body and the sealed plug ensure complete safety and maintain the system's thermal insulation properties at the same level as the straight pipe sections.

Application & Alternative Solutions
- Requires Support: As a base component of the system, the cleaning tee must be securely fixed on a mounting start platform or a wall bracket (fixed or adjustable).
- Alternative Solution: In some simple systems, the function of an inspection point can be performed by a removable condensate drain; however, a dedicated inspection tee provides more convenient and safer access.
