Mounting Clamp for Chimney (Fixing Band)
Product Description
The Mounting Clamp (or fixing band) is a universal component for creating custom fixing points on the pipe of a chimney. Unlike a locking band, which is placed over a joint, this clamp goes around the body of the pipe, providing lugs ("ears") for attaching brackets, threaded rod hangers, or guy wires. It is the ideal solution for complex and non-standard installation challenges.
Key Features
- Solution for Custom Applications: Allows an installer to fabricate a custom bracket of the required length and configuration on-site, or to securely fasten the chimney in unique architectural conditions.
- Suspending Horizontal Runs: It is the primary component for suspending horizontal runs of a twin-wall chimney from a ceiling or beams using threaded rods, which are screwed into the clamp's mounting "ears".
- Various Modifications: Different configurations are available on request: with one or two mounting lugs ("ears"), as well as with special brackets for attaching guy wires.
- Robust Construction: Manufactured from high-strength stainless steel (30x1.5 mm strip), which guarantees a high load-bearing capacity and durability of the fixture.

Application & IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS
- DO NOT USE ON JOINTS: It is strictly prohibited to use this clamp to connect two chimney components. Only the locking band is designed for that purpose.
- Load Calculation: When creating load-bearing structures (especially hangers for horizontal runs), the installer must independently calculate the strength of the associated components (threaded rods, anchors) and ensure they are securely fastened to the building.
- Standard Solution: For standard wall mounting of an insulated chimney, it is recommended to use ready-made adjustable or fixed wall brackets.
