Rigid Roof Brace Kit for Chimney (Struts)
Product Description
The Rigid Brace Kit (or struts) is a fastening kit designed to ensure the stability of the tall section of a three-layer chimney that extends above the roofline. Installation of braces is mandatory if the height of the chimney pipe above the roof exceeds 1.5 - 2 meters. The kit securely fastens the pipe, protecting it from tipping over under strong wind loads.
Key Features
- Resistance to Wind Loads: Two steel support arms ("legs"), fastened to the roof and to the pipe with a clamp, form a rigid triangular structure. It effectively resists wind and prevents vibrations and swaying of the tall part of the twin-wall chimney.
- Complete Kit: The set consists of a mounting clamp (fixing band) and two long support arms made from profile tube.
- Adjustable Length: The support arms are supplied in standard lengths (1.5, 2, and 3 meters) and are cut to size on-site during installation for a precise fit to the roof geometry and chimney height.
- Reliable Certified Construction: The components are made from high-strength structural or stainless steel and are certified according to the EN-1090-2 standard, which confirms their reliability as load-bearing elements.
Available Options & Articles
Choose the model corresponding to the required length of the support arms. Longer arms allow for a shallower and more stable bracing angle.

Application & IMPORTANT INSTALLATION RULES
- MANDATORY INSTALLATION: If the part of the insulated chimney extending above the roof is taller than 1.5 - 2 meters (depending on the diameter and regional wind load), the installation of braces or struts is a mandatory safety requirement.
- Secure Fastening to the Roof: The "feet" of the support arms must be fastened to the roof's structural members (rafters, sheathing), not just the roofing material itself. The attachment points must be thoroughly waterproofed.
- Alternative for Shorter Chimneys: For chimneys extending less than 1.5 meters above the roof, additional bracing is generally not required.
