Round Ventilation Bend 90° with Rubber Gasket
Product Description
A round 90° bend (or elbow) is a key fitting for creating a compact and airtight ventilation system. It is designed to change the direction of the duct at a right angle, which is often required to bypass structural elements or create vertical risers. The standard turn radius is equal to the bend's diameter (R=D), which optimizes airflow.
The factory-installed EPDM rubber gasket on the male part of the bend ensures airtightness class "D" (the highest), eliminating the need for additional sealants during installation.
Key Features and Construction Types
- 90° Angle: Ideal for the most compact routing of ventilation paths in corners.
- Airtightness Class D: The EPDM gasket ensures the highest level of airtightness, reducing pressure loss and operational costs.
- Two Construction Types:
- Pressed: For small diameters (up to 200 mm inclusive) — providing ideal geometry and minimal airflow resistance.
- Segmented: For large diameters (from 250 mm) — manufactured by precisely welding segments.

Material and Thickness (for all types):
- Material: Galvanized steel DX51+Z275. Stainless steel (AISI430, AISI304, AISI316), aluminum, and powder coating (according to RAL or RR catalogs) are available on request.
- Thickness: From 0.5 to 0.9 mm depending on the diameter.
- Certification: The products comply with CE, EN 1505:2000 and EN 1506:2007 standards.
Application and Installation Tips
- Installation: The bend inserts easily into straight ducts or other fittings (e.g., tees) that have a female connection (socket).
- "Fitting-to-fitting" connection: To connect two fittings (e.g., two bends) together, you must use a nipple (coupler).
- Radius: The standard turn radius (R) is equal to the bend's diameter (D) (R=D).
- Fixing: It is recommended to secure the joints with quick-release clamps.
Availability and Ordering
- Availability: Standard bends (pressed up to D-200), shown in the table, are kept in stock or delivered within short lead times.
- Custom Order: On request, it is possible to manufacture bends without a gasket (to reduce cost), non-standard angles or radii, non-standard diameters (up to 1400 mm), and any other non-standard variations (including the materials specified in the characteristics).
