Seamed Downpipe Shoe

The seamed lower bend (also known as a discharge elbow or downpipe shoe) is the terminating component of the rainwater drainage system's vertical stack. This part is installed at the lowest point of the downpipe and is designed for the directed discharge of rainwater and meltwater into the drainage system, storm sewer, or at a safe distance from the building's plinth.

Unlike intermediate bends, the downpipe shoe features a special beaded edge (a rolled stiffening rim) at the discharge opening, which protects the metal edge from deformation under mechanical impact. The product is assembled from segments using the folded seam method, ensuring high joint strength. It is available in galvanized steel, as well as with an additional Polyester polymer coating for maximum anti-corrosion protection.
