Den Braven Elast-O-Rub Rubber-Based Roofing Sealant (Transparent, 310 ml)

Den Braven Elast-O-Rub is a versatile repair putty and sealant based on Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene block copolymer (S-EB-S). The compound cures via solvent evaporation into a soft, flexible rubber-like seal. The product is specifically designed for quick, temporary repairs of joints, cracks, and sealing leaks.

The sealant offers excellent adhesion to most surfaces, including damp substrates. It adheres well without a primer to most non-porous materials. Unlike standard silicone compounds, this formula can be painted over with most water-based and synthetic paints.

Design and Operational Features:

• Rapid Skin Formation: The surface skin forms within just 3–5 minutes at +23°C and 50% relative humidity.
• Applications: Developed for temporary repairs of joints and cracks between stone, concrete, and metal. Highly suitable for fixing leaks in gutters and other roofing waterproofing elements.
• Paintability: Compatible with most water-based (acrylic) and synthetic paints for seamless post-application color matching.
• Strict Limitations: Not suitable for substrates made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, and neoprene. Do not use on any bituminous substrates.
