Den Braven Tixoplast Bitumen Roofing Sealant (Black, 310 ml)

Den Braven Tixoplast is a premium one-component bitumen-based sealant and adhesive. The product cures into a plastic, durable, and waterproof seal through solvent evaporation. It has been specifically developed for professional and DIY roofing installation and emergency repair applications.

The material features outstanding adhesion to most common construction substrates. It is highly suitable for roofing applications in combination with bituminous materials, guttering elements, and downpipes. A key advantage of this sealant is its ability to be applied onto damp, non-porous substrates, making it an indispensable choice for stopping leaks and conducting urgent repairs during wet weather conditions.

Design and Operational Features:

• Emergency Repairs: Suitable for immediate repairs of roofs and gutters to seal leaks. Non-porous substrates do not need to be absolutely dry during application.
• High Resilience: Upon curing, the material remains plastic and offers excellent resistance to weather and temperature fluctuations.
• Versatile Use: Highly effective for sealing joints, eaves, gutters, chimneys, ventilation passes, filling cracks, as well as adhering bitumen shingles to sloped roofs and fixing insulation panels.
• Limitations: Not suitable for substrates made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), PMMA, and PTFE, as well as polystyrene insulation panels.
