Ventilated Metal Roof Ridge Cap

The ventilated roof ridge cap is a specialized flashing element designed to protect the upper intersection of roof slopes from precipitation while simultaneously ensuring active air circulation. The product promotes the proper exhaust of moist air from the under-roof space, which prevents condensation buildup and significantly extends the service life of the entire roof truss system and insulation.

The main feature of this profile is the presence of an internal baffle system. This design forms a labyrinth channel that allows the outgoing airflow to pass freely but physically blocks the infiltration of wind-driven snow, debris, and rain under the roofing material.

Design Features:

• Labyrinth Ventilation: Additional internal Z-shaped baffle plates are mounted under the main sloped flanges (A), creating a protected ventilation gap.
• Exterior Profile: The classic U-shaped central section (flanges B and C) provides additional rigidity and basic protection for the intersection.
• Safe Edges: The lower edges of the main slopes are equipped with 10 mm hems (drip edges) for safe installation and effective water shedding.
• Material Variety: Manufactured from galvanized steel, stainless steel, and steel with protective polymer coatings (Polyester, PURal, PVC).
• Quality Control: The bending production cycle is certified and strictly complies with European standards (Factory Production Control Certificate No. 1805/2011).
