Complex Profile Exterior Metal Flashing (Sill)

The complex profile exterior sheet metal flashing (sill) is designed to reliably shed rainwater away from window structures, building plinths, and foundations. The specialized profile geometry, featuring an additional bend, increases the longitudinal rigidity of the product, prevents deformation under wind loads, and ensures efficient water runoff, protecting the facade from moisture damage.

Manufactured at the SIA Akvilon technological facility. In addition to basic configurations, a key focus is the fabrication of complex flashings based on the customer's custom sketches, where all flange dimensions and bending angles are fully adapted to the specific requirements of the project.

Design Features:

• Custom Profiling: Ability to modify standard flange dimensions (A, B, C), slope angles, and drip edge configurations to exactly match the client's drawings.
• Continuous Length up to 3 Meters: Manufacturing elements up to 3 m (3000 mm) long minimizes the number of joints and overlaps during installation, which improves water tightness and enhances the visual appearance of the structure.
• Reinforced Drip Edge: The presence of an additional angled bend (20 mm) before the final drip edge (10 mm) optimizes the water shedding trajectory and prevents water from creeping back under the flashing via capillary action.
• Long-term Protection Materials: Products are made from galvanized steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal with polymer coatings (Polyester, PURal, PVC) that are highly resistant to UV radiation and corrosion.
• Certified Production: Quality control at all stages of metal bending is backed by the Factory Production Control Certificate No. 1805/2011.
