Glazed Roof Access Hatch with Metal Flashing Plate

The roof access hatch with a translucent insert is designed for installation on bitumen roof coverings, as well as profiled metal and metal tile roofs. In addition to providing convenient rooftop access for maintenance and serving as an escape route in emergency situations, the hatch functions as a skylight, providing supplementary natural light to attic or technical rooms.

The oval configuration of the housing promotes natural drainage, significantly reducing the likelihood of standing water at the top of the hatch and minimizing the risk of roof leaks. All structural joints are mechanically seamed, ensuring high rigidity and reliable protection against leaks at the seams.

Design Features:

• Translucent Element: The integrated rectangular glazing helps reduce energy consumption during daylight hours. The specific type of translucent material (insulated glazing unit, tempered glass, or impact-resistant polycarbonate) and its specifications are tailored individually during ordering to match project requirements.
• Reinforced Opening: The perimeter of the base is reinforced with a steel strip. This structural element allows the edges of the hatch to support human weight during entry and exit, preserving the original geometry of the sheet metal without deformation.
• Heavy-Duty Hardware: The cover handle is manufactured from a durable 4 mm thick metal strip, enabling a firm grip even when the seals are frozen and ensuring mechanism reliability under intensive use.
