Series Description
Soler & Palau TD-SILENT series fans are specifically designed for environments with high requirements for acoustic comfort: bedrooms, nurseries, recording studios, meeting rooms, and offices. These are among the quietest in-line duct fans in their class.
Low noise levels are achieved through double-skin technology. The inner perforated shell allows sound waves to pass through, where they are absorbed by a layer of special sound-attenuating material located between the inner and outer casings. Additionally, rubber gaskets on the connection ports and vibration-damping motor mounts prevent vibration transmission to the air ducts.
Design Advantages
- Materials: Models TD-160 to TD-1000 are made of high-quality plastic. Models TD-1300 and TD-2000 feature an outer casing made of epoxy-coated sheet steel and an inner casing made of aluminum.
- Motor: Single-phase two-speed motors (230V, 50Hz) equipped with ball bearings are used, ensuring a long service life (up to 30,000 hours) and allowing installation in any position. Protection class IP44.
- Maintenance: Similar to the standard series, the central block with the motor can be easily removed from the mounting bracket for cleaning without dismantling the adjacent ductwork.
- Timer Versions (T): Models with the "T" index are equipped with a built-in adjustable run-on timer (from 1 to 30 minutes).

Installation Recommendations
- Control: For standard models, it is recommended to use two-speed switches (REGUL-2) or regulators (REB). Models with a timer (T) require a permanent live phase and operate based on the run-on delay algorithm.
- Sealing: The connection ports are equipped with rubber gaskets, ensuring an airtight seal with the duct without the need for aluminum tape.
- Positioning: The fan can be installed in any position along the duct axis. The terminal box on models up to 1000 rotates 360°, facilitating cable connection.
