Smooth Aluminum Tape for Ventilation Systems

Smooth aluminum tape is a flexible and heat-resistant material designed for sealing joints in ventilation networks. The absence of internal reinforcement provides high foil plasticity. This allows for the tight wrapping of complex-shaped fittings (elbows, tees, reducers) where stiffer reinforced tapes tend to crease. The application of this material protects the ventilation network against air leaks and moisture ingress, maintaining the designed operating pressure.

Design and Operational Features

• Heat Resistance: The product is classified as a flame-retardant material and maintains its adhesive properties at temperatures up to +150°C.
• Conformability: The foil precisely adapts to the geometry of uneven surfaces, ensuring joint sealing without wrinkles or delamination.
• Installation: The thin structure allows the material to be torn by hand without the need for cutting tools, optimizing the assembly process.
• Surface Requirements: To achieve maximum adhesion, the tape must be applied to a dry, dust-free, and degreased surface. The internal adhesive layer is protected by a peel-off paper liner.
