Rubber Connection Sleeve for GM Systems

The connection sleeve is designed for the hermetic joining of flexible corrugated air ducts to each other or for their direct connection to GM system distribution manifolds. The utilization of this component ensures the continuity of the ventilation network, preventing air leaks and static operating pressure drops.

Design and Operational Features

The component is manufactured from dense, flexible rubber featuring a specially ribbed internal surface. Unlike rigid plastic alternatives, the elastic material grips the corrugated duct without causing deformation, while the internal ribs act as additional sealing contours.

• Reusable Application: The flexible rubber does not compress or break the ribs of the plastic pipe during installation. In the event of disassembly or network modifications, the duct section remains undamaged and suitable for further use.
• Hermetic Connection: The ribbed design ensures secure duct fixation through a simple push-fit insertion. This guarantees a high sealing class without the need for aluminum sealing tape or silicone sealants.
• Vibration Isolation: The flexible rubber body functions as a vibration isolator. It effectively dampens structural noise, preventing its transmission from the distribution unit throughout the ventilation network components.
• Compatibility: The sleeve accurately matches the parameters of the GM system and is compatible with standard air ducts of 63 mm, 75 mm, and 90 mm in diameter.
