Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Flashing Tape Zwaluw Loodband (100 mm x 10 m), Lead-Grey
Zwaluw Loodband is a ready-to-use, strong self-adhesive waterproofing flashing tape consisting of a modified bituminous layer. The product features a weather-resistant lead-coloured polyester foil top cover. The underside of the tape is equipped with an easily removable siliconised high-density polyethylene release foil.
The product is engineered for rapid sealing, repair, and waterproofing of roof gutters, bay windows, and joints or extensions between walls and building structures. The composition provides an instant bond to most types of construction substrates without requiring flame heating or torches. Its elasticity allows for easy shaping to adapt to any joint profile, ensuring robust tear resistance and environmental protection.
Design and Operational Features:
- Discreet Lead Finish: The dark grey tone of the top cover is ideal for repairing darker roofing materials, blending seamlessly with the structure.
- High UV Resistance: The protective polyester foil prevents the underlying bitumen layer from drying out and cracking under solar exposure.
- Universal Adhesion: The tape provides effective adhesion to almost all types of construction substrates, provided that the surface is properly prepared.
- Paintable Surface: The outer surface of the foil is fully paintable, allowing it to visually blend with custom surrounding materials.

| Surface Preparation |
All surfaces must be absolutely clean, dry, free of dust, grease, and loose material. Porous surfaces should be primed with Zwaluw B&B Primer. |
| Sizing Rule |
Always add 100 mm to the joint width (50 mm allowance for both sides). |
| Minimum Overlap |
At least 25 mm between adjacent strips. |
