Roof Access Hatch with Metal Flashing Plate

The roof access hatch is designed for installation on bitumen roof coverings, as well as profiled metal and metal tile roofs. It provides convenient rooftop access for routine equipment maintenance, chimney sweeping, and repair work, and can also serve as an escape route in emergency situations.

All structural joints are mechanically seamed, ensuring high strength and reliability under thermal expansion and contraction. The oval shape of both the housing and the integrated flashing plate promotes natural drainage, significantly reducing the likelihood of standing water at the top of the hatch and minimizing the risk of roof leaks.

Design Features:

• Reinforced Frame: The perimeter of the base is reinforced with a steel strip. This stiffening rib allows the edges of the structure to support human weight during entry and exit, preserving the original geometry and preventing deformation.
• Heavy-Duty Hardware: The cover handle is manufactured from a durable 4 mm thick metal strip, enabling a firm grip even when the seals are frozen.
• Versatile Installation: The flat metal flashing apron enables easy integration of the hatch into flexible bituminous roofing or beneath the overlapping panels of profiled metal sheets.
