45° Elbow with Inspection Port for Stove and Fireplace Flues
Product Description
The SPNP 45° Elbow with an inspection port is a black steel (2 mm) flue component that changes the channel direction by 45 degrees while providing access for maintenance. It is used for gentle offsets to bypass structural obstacles and for connecting wood-burning stoves or fireplaces to the vertical chimney section. The integrated inspection hatch allows for cleaning and inspection of the flue without disassembly.
Key Features
- Dual Functionality: Combines two tasks: altering the flue path by 45° to bypass obstacles and providing convenient cleaning access through an integrated inspection port.
- Durability and High-Temperature Resistance: The 2 mm thick wall and a TIG-welded seam provide high resistance to heat (Class T600), burn-through, and deformation. The component is rated Class G for soot fire resistance.
- High-Quality Coating: The component is finished with heat-resistant Senotherm paint. This paint cures during the first firing, without emitting smoke or odours, and provides reliable protection against corrosion.
- European Quality and Safety: The product is certified and CE marked, confirming its full compliance with the European standard for flue systems EN 1856-2.

Important Limitations
- For Solid Fuel Appliances: Intended for use with wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and solid-fuel boilers. Do not use with pellet boilers.
- Check After Cleaning: After servicing the flue through the inspection port, ensure the lid is securely closed.
- For Indoor Installation Only: This is a single-wall component, not insulated (twin-wall), and is intended for installation only inside heated spaces.
