Black transition from round to rectangular chimney cross-section - chimney system element
Black transition from round to rectangular chimney cross-section is a necessary element for connecting different chimney systems by changing the diameter or shape of the chimney cross-section.
This transition is used to connect a chimney to a heat generator (for example, boiler) that has a rectangular outlet pipe. It provides a reliable and tight connection between chimney elements of different forms.
Main characteristics:
-
Material: Made of high quality black metal for durability and corrosion resistance.
-
Adaptability: Various configurations are possible depending on customer preferences, fuel type and heater requirements.
-
High temperature resistance: Withstands up to 1000°C while maintaining structural stability.
-
Quick and easy mounting: Minimum assembly time and effort.
-
Heat-resistant coating: Coated with Senotherm black paint after post-treatment for added protection and aesthetic appearance.
-
Flexible: Customised transitions including offset and flanged (AISI 304) can be manufactured.
Additional options:
Single-wall systems made of 2 mm thick steel sheets are used to remove smoke from fireplaces and solid fuel heaters (non-condensing), where the temperature of flue gases can reach up to 1000 °C.
Black chimney pipes and connections are characterised by quick installation and high durability. They are manufactured on special factory equipment and have a split joint - one end of the pipe is narrowed, which allows the chimney to be installed using the ‘pipe-in-pipe’ method.
The joints are laser welded, which ensures reliability, aesthetic appearance and ease of further maintenance. The inner surface is smooth, which prevents the accumulation of soot on the walls of the chimney.
All products are coated with heat-resistant black paint ‘SENOTHERM’, specially developed for heating systems. When first heated, it does not produce smoke or unpleasant odours, making it the optimal choice for solid fuel heating systems.
Black pipes and joints are installed indoors before entering the flue duct or chimney shaft. If installed outdoors, the chimney should be insulated.
