Black transition (reduction) for ceramic flues
A transition (reduction) is a flue system element used when it is necessary to change the flue diameter in order to connect different types of flue systems.
It is recommended to use specially made transitions with heat resistant rope for ceramic chimneys and reductions for ceramic flues. As a result of the temperature - the metal expands, without a compensating spacer, an ordinary metallic transition can damage ceramic chimneys.
We can produce transitions for ceramic chimneys to customer's dimensions in AISI 304.

Black pipes and connections are characterised by very fast assembly and high strength. They are rolled on special factory equipment. Black pipes and joints are installed indoors before entering the flue duct or chimney shaft. If installed outdoors, the chimney should be insulated.
