Installation of air conditioning systems for high purity rooms

To ensure a high degree of purity in rooms, an air conditioning system with temperature, humidity, pressure, and dust control is installed.

The equipment typically includes:

• supply and exhaust fans;
• recirculation section;
• outdoor air, exhaust air, and supply air filters;
• electric or water supply heater;
• direct expansion cooler;
• and a silencer in the exhaust section.

Outdoor air supply is designed to be 15-30% of the total system capacity. This is sufficient to provide the necessary working conditions for employees. This approach saves energy on heating and humidifying the air in winter, and cooling it in summer. As an additional option for heat energy savings, the unit can be supplemented with a rotary heat exchanger section.

Air is supplied to the rooms through supply plenums equipped with HEPA filters. Air exhaust is organized using exhaust grilles complete with dust filters, located in the walls near the floor. Inspection hatches are provided for cleaning the air ducts.
