Flat Metal Cover Trim (Cover Flashing)

The cover trim (cover flashing) is a versatile flat flashing element designed to cover installation seams, expansion gaps, and joints between various building structures. It is widely used in facade cladding with sandwich panels, profiled sheets, as well as for framing window and door openings.

The primary task of the cover trim is to reliably isolate the vulnerable joint from moisture ingress, wind infiltration, and the destructive effects of UV radiation on expanding foam or sealants. Simultaneously, the part serves an aesthetic function, visually leveling the plane and giving the facade a finished appearance.

Design Features:

• Concealed Hemming (Safe Edges): The key engineering feature of the profile is the presence of 10 mm hems that are completely folded back to the reverse (hidden) side of the trim. This hides the sharp cut edges, making the part safe to handle.
• Increased Longitudinal Rigidity: Thanks to the double reverse hemming, even a very wide flat trim does not deform or suffer from "oil canning" (waviness) during installation or sudden temperature fluctuations on the facade.
• Custom Width (A): The overall dimension of the exposed face is calculated strictly according to the customer's specification. This allows for reliable covering of gaps of any complexity while maintaining the required technological overlaps.
• Perfect Fit: The exposed face of the part remains absolutely smooth. When using sheet metal with colored polymer coatings (Polyester, PURal, PVC), the cover trim blends seamlessly with the main facade into a single monolithic structure.
